This page describes the changes made to UniPlot R2026 since UniPlot version R2025.

New in R2026.5 (2026-10-30)

Enhancements

  • (UNI-564): New dialog Tools=>Colors=>User Color Maps to create, edit, delete, import and export user-defined color maps for 3D datasets. The colors are selected with the color dialog box. User color maps are saved in the UniPlot user directory and are kept when UniPlot is updated. The menu item User Colors… has moved to the new submenu Tools=>Colors. New functions: ColorScale_AddUser, ColorScale_DeleteUser and ColorScale_GetUserNames.

  • (UNI-1035): Reworked automatic x-channel selection in the Data Browser. The feature can now be switched on and off with a button left of the x and y combo boxes. The color of the button shows if the selected x channel is the time channel of the selected y channel (green), if no matching time channel was found (blue) or if the feature is switched off (gray). Selecting an x channel manually switches the feature off.

Bug Fixes

  • (UNI-1045): DialogBox: Report control cells of type “MarkerText” displayed a drop-down button without function. The button is no longer displayed.

  • (UNI-1041): Exporting UniPlot settings to XML could produce invalid XML when saved settings contained quotation marks. The exported settings file can now be parsed correctly in these cases.

  • (UNI-1042): MORPHEE import filter of MTABLE file has been improved.

  • (UNI-1036): Fixed an issue when importing MDF4 files containing range-to-text conversions that could cause an error when processing the default enum value.

  • (UNI-998): ipz_pack failed and left the file unchanged if the IPZ file contained an image inserted as a link only (no embedded copy), for example an image whose link type was changed from embedded to linked. Linked images are now skipped, and an embedded copy left over from an earlier state is removed as unused.

  • (UNI-277): File=>Send to PowerPoint: Pages sent to PowerPoint with the Meta File Format “EMF+” were displayed much smaller (about a quarter of the size) after the presentation was saved as a PDF file in PowerPoint. EMF+ files are now written with the page unit pixel, so the size is kept. The display in PowerPoint is unchanged.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes a crash when opening the color dialog in the Japanese version. The transparency controls were missing from the dialog and have been added.

  • On the AODS5 Login Dialog deleting a connection setting failed with an error message (_AODS_4_LogInDialog_DeleteConnection: undefined variable).

  • (UNI-938): Fixed positioning issues of the sequencer popup windows when using multiple screens.

  • (UNI-910): The sequencer may be undocked now without blocking the main window.

  • (UNI-939): Fixed Ctrl-Tab to switch active documents.

  • (UNI-1027): Sequencer action Browse for File: Fixed caption and file filter not stored as RV.

  • (UNI-942): Fixed some flickering issues.

  • Improved Chinese translations.

  • Fixes a bug where the UniScript Preprocessor did not correctly parse r”".

  • (UNI-927): Automated X-axis channel selection removed for 2D diagrams.

New in R2026.3 (2026-06-26)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes a bug where the UniScript Preprocessor did not ignore comments.

  • Fixes a bug where the UniScript Preprocessor sometimes did not properly handle the end of a line when parsing a string.

  • Fixes a bug where the UniScript Interpreter was complaining about the end of the file within a line comment.

New in R2026.2 (2026-05-18)

Enhancements

  • (UNI-1005): When deleting rows in the grid, the filter checkbox was automatically and unintentionally enabled if a filter was active for the file.

Bug Fixes

  • The function get_ncid() was replaced by _FE_get_ncid() in the previous release (R2026.1). Starting with release R2026.2, both functions are available again. Users should continue using get_ncid().

New in R2026.1 (2026-05-01)

Enhancements

  • (UNI-973): During Calibration Data file import, TDM files could be mistakenly taken for DCM files.

  • (UNI-992): MORPHEE import MNPT filter has been implemented following official standard.

  • (UNI-991): When using the UniScript UserColorImport function, for the imported colors to be available in the line style colors, the user has to open the UserColor dialog and press OK. UserColorImport has been updated to avoid this extra step.

  • (UNI-999): UniPlot can now connect to any FLEXLAB server, browse and download data locally. See FLEXLAB Browser.

  • The get-error_code argument of system is now documented.

  • The UniPlot executable uniplot.exe is now signed with a digital certificate.

Bug Fixes

  • (UNI-993): Axis user labels “Display User Label” is not unchecked if during the same dialog session the User Label text is ereased and the checkbox gets unchecked.

  • (UNI-994): Axis user labels are never erased during saving event of the IPZ.

  • Calling DLL functions (that have been registered with RegisterFunction) with two or more string arguments (char *) passed the first string to all parameters instead of their own values.

  • (UNI-1000): For users who never toggled the “Show only filter results” in the Data Editor, deletion of channels rows while in filtering mode can lead to incorrect data deletion.

  • (UNI-1001): In the Map Calculator the button Copy Matrix to Clipboard did not work if the clipboard is not empty.

  • (UNI-1002): Some characters are not well displayed when the option “UniCode Files” is selected in the UniPlot options.

New in R2026.0 (2026-01-30)

Enhancements

  • (UNI-830): UniPlot now embbeds a MORPHEE import filter to easily analyse and compare test results produced by the Automation Software.

  • (UNI-977): UniPlot now has a JSON to UniScript object converter. A new step toward web data analysis!

  • (UNI-964): UniPlot now can be started by web applications using the command "uniplot-urlstartup://". This command can be extended by the Sequencer Command line parameter "/ws", "/seq" and "/rv" (encapsulated in the new hidden parameter "/url"). The parameter "/ws" now also accepts zip files and http addresses.

Bug Fixes

  • (UNI-947): InterTable formula with presence of $ was leading to undesired error messages.

  • (UNI-966): 3D color legends are not properly updated in R2025.3. This is corrected by an update of the function TableDeleteRow.

  • (UNI-869): Sequencer: Fixed the buttons which select the unit file of the action Norm Names.
