File=>EPS/PDF-ExportΒΆ

This function can be used to save one or more document pages as EPS files or PDF files. The PDF files will be saved with the bounding box. For the PDF Export epstopdf.exe must be installed. The program is part of the free Latex distribution MiKTeX (http://www.miktex.org).

PS-Printer
This combo box displays the selected PostScript driver. You can only use especially prepared printer drivers. See comment.
Pages
The list displays the page names of the selected document. To select one or more pages hold down the Shift- or the Ctrl key.
Save EPS-Files in Directory
Specifies the directory where the EPS files will be saved. File extension is .EPS
Use only Page Name as File Name
If this check box is selected only the page name will be used to name the EPS files. Otherwise the name is formed from the document name plus the page name.

Comment

To use this function a PostScript-Driver must be installed. You do not need to have a PostScript-Printer connected to your computer.

If you like to create color EPS files select a color PostScript-Driver, e.g. HP Color LaserJet PS. As printer port select File:. Give the driver a name that you do not mix it up with your standard printer, e.g. UniPlot-EPS.

In the printer setup select the option EPS in the PostScript options. as shown in the following dialog box:

You may have to change the driver if the quality of the result is not satisfying (font problems).
