Import of TransPC Data Files

Introduction

The addin RS_TPC is an import filter enabling UniPlot to access TransPC data files (.TPC). TransPC data files are created by the TransPC-Transient Recorder of Elsys AG, Switzerland.

Installation

• Choose Tools=>Add-In Manager.
• Check the “TansPC-Import” addin.
• Choose OK. Restart UniPlot.

The installed files are located in the C:\Program Files\UniPlot\AddIn\RS_TPC directory.

Usage

• Start UniPlot.
• Choose File=>Import Data.
• Choose Type “TransPC File (*.tpc)”.
• Select one or more TPC files.

Configuration

Every data channel can have 4 marker channels. You can set the marker channels in the toolstranspc-import-configuration dialog box. They will be created in the NC file.

The marker channel name is created from the channel name followed by an underscore followed by the marker name. The marker channel contains the values 0 and 1.

Created NC-File

The NC file contains all channels of the selected TPC file.
