Select the item ``Create legend for data files (table)``. Right click on the legend table to configure the legend. Choose the command ``File Legend Configuration``. The order of data files and the file comment can be set in the :ref:`datadata-exchange-(document)` dialog box. .. us.dlgitem **Display used files of the current page** If this option is selected only files used in the current page are displayed. .. us.dlgitem **Display used files of the complete document** If this option is selected all files used in the document will be displayed. .. us.dlgitem **Display Symbol** A symbol will be displayed. If all curves of a data file use the same curve color, the curve color will be used for the symbol. Otherwise the curve symbol will be displayed in black. .. us.dlgitem **Display File Name** If checked the file name will be displayed. .. us.dlgitem **Display Comment** The comment can be set in the data exchange dialog box :ref:`datadata-exchange-(page)`. If the comment starts with an exclamation mark (``!``), the data file will not be displayed in the legend. .. us.dlgitem **Display File attribute** A file attribute is a global NC file attribute or a channel name followed by a period followed b a point index. Example speed.1 to display the first data point of the channel speed of speed.-1 to display the last point. .. us.dlgitem **Display Header** If you want to modify the header, type into the cell name the text x. The text x will avoid that the header cell will be updated automatically. .. us.comment **Comment** The parameters are saved in the name of the table object.
