Data=>Open Datafile

You find this command in the dataset context menu (right click a dataset).

The command opens the data file in the data browser (see also :ref:`data-browser`) 
or in the Data Browser Dialogbox (see :ref:`fileimport-data`).

The command searches for the data file in the following directoryies:

* The directory that is saved in the dataset.

* The directory where the IPW file is saved.

* The NC directory that is specified in :ref:`tools-more-options`.

* If the file is not found UniPlot will try to import the original data file.

The command uses the :ref:`DS_FindNCFile` function to find the netCDF file
or to create the netCDF file from the original file.
