Diagram=>X/Y/Z-Axis=>Title

You can edit the axis title in this dialog box. The axis title of a 
x/y diagram can have multiple lines.

You can use sub- and superscript, insert characters from the 
special character sets or insert lines, arrows and symbols into the 
text.(see :ref:`text-objects`).

**Protect Axis Title**

   If the option is selected the axis title can only be modified using the dialog
   box.

**Set Title during load**

   If the option is selected the axis title will be set during the loading of a 
   dataset. The old title will be replaced. The title will only be loaded if the
   option *Column Title as Axis Label* is set in the :ref:`file-import-options`
   dialog box.

**Auto Axis Title**

   If the option is set, the axis title will be updated when a dataset is loaded
   or updated. The title will be created from the channel name or channel title 
   and the unit text.  The format can be set in the :ref:`fileimport-options`
   dialog box. The elements will be read from the data source information map
   :ref:`dialogbox-datasource-information`.

   The y-axis title can contain the names of multiple curves. Only unique
   names will be displayed. For example, if the curve ``speed in rpm`` is 
   loaded 3 times from different data files, the title will only show the title
   of one curve.

   A legend symbol can be displayed in front of the axis title.

**with Symbol**

   If this option is selected and the option **Auto Axis Title** is selected as 
   well, a curve symbol is displayed in front of the axis title. For the option
   ``Only Marker`` a black marker is displayed if the curve are displayed with
   a marker. The option ``Legend Symbol`` displays the symbol used in the legend.

**Title and Label in Curve Color**

   Use the curve color of the first 2D dataset to set the color
   of the y-axis title and label.

   Use the curve color of the first 2D dataset to set the color
   of the y-axis.
