:ref:`excel_sheet_get_row_str` returns a string data matrix with the values of a 
section of an Excel sheet.

**Return Value**

*smString* is a string matrix. The matrix contains the string values of the 
segment of a sheet. Before this function is invoked :ref:`excel_sheet_get_rows` 
must be invoked to load the data. The number of columns is identical to the 
number of columns of the sheet. The number of rows is identical to the return 
value of :ref:`excel_sheet_get_rows`. If a cell is empty or contains a number the
correspnding element of *smString* is set to "".
